There was also a link attached to the post, for a video of the original ending. The post had a little description, saying that "The Graveyard Shift" was going to have a much darker ending, but it was then scrapped due to issues with the staff. And the disscussion was about an unused ending to "The Graveyard Shift". As I had gotten to the bottom of the page, there was a discussion, written by a user who's name was in complete jibberish. I scrolled through a couple of disscussions, which were mostly episode reviews, and fanart. Once I was there, I decided to go onto the disscussions/community page. One day I was just browsing the internet, and I then went onto Encyclopedia SpongeBobia. Wanna know how I discovered this scrapped ending? Here's the story. But the ending was originally gonna be so much scarier, and if it was the actual ending of the episode, I probably would've never wanted to watch SpongeBob again after seeing it. The episode itself scared me a bit when I was a younger. But although the story is fictional, the signs of The Hash Slinging Slasher's approach happen, but they turned out to be a guy wanting to get a job at the Krusty Krab, and Count Orlok from the 1922 silent film "Nosferatu", flickering the lights. Squidward then tells SpongeBob a fake tale about "The Hash Slinging Slasher", to scare him even more. Later in the episode, SpongeBob has to take out the trash, but is afraid to walk out into the darkness. Krabs leaves SpongeBob & Squidward working alone at night. Krabs, having the Krusty Krab be open 24 hours a day to get more money to be rich, and Mr. Which is the 16th episode of Season 2, and the 36th episode overall. I'm sure we all know about the SpongeBob episode "The Graveyard Shift".
