Talking about his career, K J Yesudas recorded his first popular song, Jaathi Bhedam Matha Dwesham on 14th November 1961. He also studied music under Vechoor Harihara Subramania Iyer for a brief period. Unfortunately, as a result of financial constraints, he couldn’t complete his course. K J Yesudas, born with the name Kattassery Joseph Yesudas, is an Indian playback singer and musician who has recorded more than 50,000 songs in a variety of languages including Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Arabic, Latin, English, and Russian.
